Christians know what Jesus Christ has done—but who is he? What is his deepest heart for his people\, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus said he is “gentle and lowly in heart.” This book reflects on these words\, opening up a neglected yet central truth about who he is for sinners and sufferers today. Books are $10. \nWe will also have an inductive study on the book of James. What is true faith? How should you live the Christian life? Each verse of this practical study is alive with instructions\, admonition\, and encouragement. Learn God’s principles for dealing with trials\, temptations\, the tongue\, and the pull of the world. This class has two hours of homework per week. Books are $10.

DESCRIPTION:“Honoring Him with our lives and praising Him with our voices.” The highly acclaimed vocal ensemble THE VOICES OF MOBILE (students from the University of Mobile) will perform a FREE concert at First Pres on Sunday\, April 21 at 6:00 PM. They have performed concerts all over the world\, including Israel\, France and Germany\, along with ministry opportunities at the White House\, Pentagon and Carnegie Hall. They are in their 21st year of traveling nationally and internationally\, and we are excited to have them here in Ocean Springs!
