SUMMARY:Women's Bible Studies
DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Bible Studies will meet Wednesdays from 9:30-11:00 AM September 13-November 15. We will begin in the Fellowship Hall and then move into rooms 201 and 202 for our studies. The Precept Upon Precept INDUCTIVE BIBLE STUDY will be on the book of Ruth. Books for this study are $8. The Moms’ Bible Study this fall will be looking at Timothy Keller’s Counterfeit Gods: The Empty Promises of Money\, Sex\, and Power\, and the Only Hope that Matters. DESCRIPTION:Running on Wednesday nights all September and October (6:00-7:30) this fall in The Commons\, Established is designed specifically for our 4th-6th graders. Always starting with games and food\, we set the tone for an evening of fun\, fellowship and exploring the Word. We aim to teach these kids more about what the Bible is\, who it’s for\, and how to study and share it with others. This class will help your children deepen their understanding of what their faith is and develop deeper relationships with other kids their age.

SUMMARY:Brown Bag Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:The ancient church father\, Origen\, wrote\, “As to who actually wrote the epistle to the Hebrews\, God knows the truth of the matter.” This unknown writer encourages Christians to remain steadfast in suffering and to remember that Jesus is better than angels\, Moses\, Joshua\, the priests\, the sacrifices\, the old covenant\, even Mount Zion itself—Jesus fulfills and supersedes them all. This fall’s Brown Bag Bible Study on Hebrews will be on Thursdays (September 7 – December 14\, will not meet on October 5 and November 23) from 12:10-1:00 PM in room 202. Bring your brown bag lunch and feast with us on the word of God!

DESCRIPTION:We’re having a LEGACY LUAU for all of those 65+ in our church on Sunday\, September 24 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall! We’ll be serving up dinner (pineapple smoked sausage\, teriyaki chicken thighs\, cold macaroni salad\, fruit salad and dessert) and mocktails.
