DESCRIPTION:Our week to volunteer at The Lord Is My Help is March 11-15. The Lord Is My Help is a food bank in Ocean Springs that helps those who are hungry with meals and groceries. \nThere are two volunteer opportunities each day as follows. Folks are welcome to sign up below for one or both sessions each day. You must be at least 13 years of age or older to volunteer. \n\n9:15 – 10:00 AM – 5 volunteers are needed to assist with plating meals for Meals on Wheels. These meals are delivered to elderly\, ill\, indigent\, and disabled people in our community.\n11:15 AM – 12:00 PM – 4 volunteers are needed to assist with serving meals in the dining room to the hungry people in our community.\n\nIf there is more than one person joining you\, please sign up for multiple slots to avoid overstaffing issues on the days we serve. You may experience all kinds of difficult and unexpected emotions\, from shock or anger to disbelief\, guilt\, and profound sadness. The pain of grief can also disrupt your physical health\, making it difficult to sleep\, eat or even think straight. These are normal reactions to significant loss.  \nWhile there is no right or wrong way to grieve\, there are healthy ways to cope with the pain that\, in time\, can ease your sadness and help you come to terms with your loss\, find new meaning\, and move on with your life. We are offering GriefShare\, a 13-week program designed to help you cope. The program begins Monday\, February 5 from 1:00-3:00 PM in Room 201. SUMMARY:Women's Bible Studies
DESCRIPTION:Our WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES are back on WEDNESDAYS from 9:30-11:00 AM starting January 10. We will begin in the Fellowship Hall and then move into rooms 201 and 202 for our studies. Our 12-week INDUCTIVE BIBLE STUDY will focus on the book of Nehemiah. The MOMS’ BIBLE STUDY this spring will be Behold and Believe: A Bible Study on the “I Am” Statements of Jesus by Courtney Doctor and Joanna Kimbrel. The books are $10 for each study\, and you can pick them up at the church office beforehand or on the first day of the study. DESCRIPTION:On Wednesdays during Lent starting February 21\, bring a brown bag lunch and join us at NOON in the Chapel for our LENTEN LUNCH DEVOTIONALS. These 30-minute devotionals will be led by our ministry staff and will introduce some helpful spiritual disciplines.  Our weekly scriptures\, prayers\, and fasting will be an invitation to be still\, to quiet our soul and to consider the work Jesus did so that we can rest in him.

DESCRIPTION:Running on Wednesday nights Jan 31-Mar 20 (6:00-7:30) this fall in The Commons\, Established is designed specifically for our 4th-6th graders. Always starting with games and food\, we set the tone for an evening of fun\, fellowship and exploring the Word. We aim to teach these kids more about what the Bible is\, who it’s for\, and how to study and share it with others. This class will help your children deepen their understanding of what their faith is and develop deeper relationships with other kids their age.
