Here at First Pres, our women’s ministry is centered on our mission as a church – to know Christ and to make Christ known together. We are called to become disciples of Christ and be equipped for the work of ministry.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES

MONDAY BIBLE STUDY
6:30-7:30 PM | Mondays (ongoing) | Worch house across the street from the church

Childcare can be arranged upon request. Join our no-homework Bible study where each session focuses on a different set of verses for us to review and discuss together in both large and small groups. All women are welcome to participate and grow in faith with us!

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDIES
9:30-11:00 AM | Wednesdays until Nov 5 | The Commons | Childcare Provided

We will have two studies for women to choose from this fall. An inductive study on 1 Timothy will center on the theme of the Church as the pillar and support of the Truth. Discover very practical instructions for how people in the church are to live, and dig deep into the practice of studying scripture as our primary source of Truth. This study has around 2 hours of homework per week.

The Incarnation study will put a new light on old texts so that you see them with fresh eyes. By understanding the message of hope and salvation within the Bible’s account of Jesus’ birth, we will experience the redeeming power of God’s grace in a deeper and more meaningful way. This study will make use of a resource by Tim Keller and will have weekly readings for homework.
