Brown Bag Bible Study

The ancient church father, Origen, wrote, “As to who actually wrote the epistle to the Hebrews, God knows the truth of the matter.” This unknown writer encourages Christians to remain steadfast in suffering and to remember that Jesus is better than angels, Moses, Joshua, the priests, the sacrifices, the old covenant, even Mount Zion itself—Jesus fulfills and supersedes them all. This fall’s Brown Bag Bible Study on Hebrews will be on Thursdays (September 7 – December 14, will not meet on October 5 and November 23) from 12:10-1:00 PM in room 202.
