FAITH FOUNDATIONS (Sunday School) is back for the spring.
We offer classes for children, youth and adults that meet people where they are in life in order to equip them to know Jesus through scripture and to take that knowledge and apply it to our lives. Children ages 3-K will check in on the first floor while grades 1st-3rd meet in room 301 and 4th-6th in room 302. Middle school and high school students will meet in the Harbor House.
Here is the schedule for our adult classes this spring.
Identity in Christ (Dr. Clay Brown, Room 201)
We will study our identity in Christ and how it affects our Christian leadership in the workplace, at home and in the church. Biblical characters will be examined to learn how their personal strongholds, such as integrity and unforgiveness, both fortified and hindered their identity in the Savior and their leadership as a Christian.
That’s a Good Question! (Kyle Palmer, Room 202)
Each week, we will explore a new topic or question pertaining to all stages and ages of life. Kyle Palmer will lead a lesson and discussion by navigating life through a biblical worldview.
1-2 Kings (Pastor Kory, Chapel)
Taught by Pastor Kory, our chapel class is a verse-by-verse journey through the books of 1 and 2 Kings.
A Faith That Will Not Fail (Janet Chapman & Maureen De Jonge, Room 305, starts February 2)
Women, are you wrestling with hard questions, enduring a tough season or just wanting to deepen your relationship with God? Join us in discussing Michele Cushatt’s book, A Faith That Will Not Fail. In it, she shares a rich, scriptural framework, personal stories and 10 transformational, spiritual practices that will equip us in our own faith journeys. Books will be provided.
Prayer Time (Gregg Bray, Room 311)
This class meets weekly for a time of prayer, where we will lift up our personal prayers, as well as prayers for our church, community and the world. No need to sign up!
