Women’s Bible Studies
October 19 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Wednesday, repeating until November 2, 2022
Our Women’s Bible Studies are held on Wednesdays from 9:30-11 AM. We all meet in the Fellowship Hall for the first 30 minutes for coffee and a small snack before moving to our two classrooms for the Bible study portion (rooms 201A and 202).
The Precept In and Out study of the book of Matthew (Part 1) is an 8-week inductive study considering the King and the Kingdom of Heaven. The first 13 chapters of Matthew will bring us face-to-face with the long-awaited Jewish Messiah. Walk with Jesus through the towns and villages of Galilee, see the miracles He performs, and listen to His teaching as He explains His kingdom. This study requires 1-2 hours of homework each week as we dig into scripture together.
For the Moms’ Bible Study, we will be studying None Like Him by Jen Wilkin. As people with limited understanding, we tend to imagine a heavenly Father who is like us. But popular blogger Wilkin reminds us that our Creator possesses many attributes we don’t—and that’s a good thing! Take a closer look at the God who is infinitely knowable, creative, able to provide, timeless, unchanging, powerful, wonderful, and more.
If you need nursery (ages 0-4) or childcare (5+) for these Bible studies, please contact the church office at 228-875-5326 or email@example.com.
